Evidences of classical Chinese, primeval Greek and Roman medicine are also found. India has a commendable history of practicing medicine. Sushruta was the first surgeon to describe numerous surgical operations including early forms of plastic surgery. Medicine aims to promote good health and wellbeing. Various forms of medicine practice is prevalent in modern world and the most conventional one is the allopathic medicine. It deals with use of drugs or surgery and is generally supported by counselling of lifestyle measures.
