Homeopathy (or homoeopathy) is a pseudoscientific system developed by German physician Samuel Hahnemann in the 18th century. It is a form of alternative medicine that proclaims to stimulate therapeutic responses and reinforce the body’s ability to cure itself. The preparation of homoeopathic cures consists of repeated shaking & dilution, also termed as ‘potentization’. People often prefer it over allopathy as low doses of medication used in homeopathic treatments often cause lessened side effects.
